The Healing Power of Compassion Meditation
with
Geshe Lobsang Tenzin

Drepung Loseling Monastery is delighted to offer this Year-End Retreat on the healing power of compassion meditation. Recent advances in scientific study of meditation are illuminating the fundamental mechanisms underlying the mind-body connection and the inherent healing power of mind, as well as its capacity to play a crucial role in counteracting stress, depression and other modern-day maladies.
Using the Lojong-based Compassion Meditation Protocol that he designed for Emory’s innovative compassion meditation research study, Geshe Lobsang Tenzin will lead participants through a step-by-step process of cultivating mindfulness and compassion, combining sessions of meditation with discussions.

Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all the sessions in order to sustain a group dynamic conducive for focus and practice.
