The Foundation Series - Jul 18 to Nov 7, 2009 |
This
five-part series, taught by Geshe Lobsang Tenzin, introduces the spiritual
aspirant to the essential elements of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy,
theory and practice. These retreats provide a basis for individual
and group practice at the center and serve as a prerequisite for more
advanced retreats.

The Intermediate Series - Jul 11 to Nov 21, 2009 |
The Intermediate Series is designed to provide a solid basis for the practice of Mahayana Buddhist meditation, which in turn forms the precondition for tantric practice. Begining with an introduction to Mahayana practice and meditation, it ends with Vajrasattva meditation, which forms a weekly regular advanced practice at DLM.

Basics
of Meditation with Geshe Lobsang Tenzin - Sundays |
Our
Spiritual Director Geshe Lobsang Tenzin leads the “Basics
of Meditation” sessions on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12:00
noon. The Basics of Meditation sessions include
a talk on the benefits of meditation and how to engage in it,
followed by a guided meditation and question and answer session.
This program is free
and open to the public.
