| Drepung Loseling Monastery is pleased to host a very special event with Ven. Geshe Lhakdor-la, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives. |
| This workshop will examine the promotion of greater happiness for self and society through the practice of universal human values that transcend any particular religion or tradition. |
| Anchored in the principles conveyed in the new book by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, "Beyond Religion: Ethics for a Whole World", this workshop offers participants the opportunity to gain understanding into leading a happier, more fulfilling life, while contributing to the creation of a more peaceful and harmonious world. |

| Geshe Lhakdor is a uniquely well-informed, and skillful, guide to the topic, having spent more than twenty years working in close proximity to His Holiness, first as his Religious Assistant and English translator, then taking on the directorship of LTWA at His Holiness' request. Closely involved during the writing of "Beyond Religion: Ethics for a Whole World", he is additionally charged with conveying His Holiness' vision for the convergence of science and spirituality, and helming various associated programs. |
