| Join us at Drepung Loseling Monastery on Thursday, October 15th, 6–8 pm for the final session of On Common Ground: Building Bridges Across Faith and Community in DeKalb County District 2. |

| |
|
| This interfaith gathering brings together voices from across DeKalb's faith communities to explore how our different traditions call us to care for the stranger and respond to homelessness and housing challenges. Our resident teacher, Geshe Phende, will join the panel to share Buddhist teachings on compassion, interconnectedness, collective community responsibility, and how these values inspire engagement with pressing social causes. |

| Panelists will also include representatives from the Decatur Cooperative Ministry churches coalition, alongside community and civic leaders, for a conversation on compassion, civic engagement, and public policy in creating lasting change. A tour of the Monastery will follow the discussion. |
