Thanks to the graciousness of the Plaza Fiesta Shopping Center, we will be able to park in their lot between 9am and 5pm on Oct 22, 2011. The parking area allocated to us is on the Dresden Drive side of the Shopping Center and a shuttle bus will run round trips all day.
Please note: this parking is only available to us during the Tibetan Festival. We strongly request that you use this lot for Festival as there will NOT be parking available at the center, and we don’t want to upset our neighbors with too many cars parked on the side streets around the center.
Plaza Fiesta is located at 4166 Buford Hwy, Atlanta, GA which is about a 5 minute walk away from Drepung Loseling. A 15 seat shuttle bus will do round trips from the Center but you may choose to walk. PLEASE only use the area allocated to DLM for parking. If you or someone in your party is not able to get onto the bus, you may either drop them off at the center and then park.

Directions to Plaza Fiesta coming from the intersection of Peachtree Rd and Dresden Drive
(at Brookhaven MARTA station):
Turn onto Dresden Dr. headed east. Pass Drepung Loseling and Clairmont Rd, and immeditately past the CVS take a right into the Plaza Fiesta. This will be the designated parking area.
Directions to Plaza Fiesta coming from the Clairmont Road exit of I85:
Head north along Clairmont Road. Cross over Buford Hwy and the second set of traffic lights is Dresden Drive. Turn Right onto Dresden Drive and immeditately past the CVS take a right into the Plaza Fiesta. This will be the designated parking area. |
