Please help us help the hungry.
 
Tonight, one in ten children in the ACFB service area of 29 counties in GA will go to bed hungry . Each year, an estimated 525,000 people in metro Atlanta and north Georgia turn to Food Bank partner agencies for food.
 
Focusing on highly nutritious foods, the Atlanta Community Food Bank aims to distribute food that will enable people suffering the ill-effects of hunger and poverty to feel stronger and healthier.
 
Food Collection Bins will be located at the back stairway entrance of DLM where your generous donations can be placed.
 
Consider donating healthy, nutritious foods such as:
• Canned fruit and vegetables
• Canned tuna, chicken, or salmon (in water)
• Canned or dried beans, peas, or lentils (low sodium)
• Whole grain pasta and flour
• Brown rice, barley, quinoa
• Whole grain cereal
• Shelf stable milk (dairy, soy, rice, etc)
• Natural peanut butter (plastic containers only)
• Olive or canola oil
• Paper products
• Diapers
• Toiletries

condiments, dressings, pet foods, or expired foods*
 
 

Drop Off Instructions:

Bins will be located under the stairwell at the far left back door entrance.

•  Sunday mornings (9 am - Noon)  
•  Monday - Friday (10 am - 5 pm)
•  *Tuesdays (11 am - 8 pm)
