(collectively “DLMI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects our users and their privacy and is committed to protecting the privacy of all users of this website or DLMI owned or operated websites according to DLMI Terms of Use. DLMI owned websites include but not limited to, drepung.org, mysticartsoftibet.org, tibetantraditions.com, drepungloseling.org and any other websites owned and controlled or operated by DLMI. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to entities not owned by nor controlled by us, such as third-party platforms/providers and other websites that may have “Drepung Loseling” used in their name but not owned nor controlled by DLMI. |

Information Collected and How |

DLMI may collect your personal information only when you voluntarily provide it to us. Your information may be collected through our website(s), by phone or in-person, on-site mailing list sign-ups or through DLMI’s third-party service providers, fundraising affiliates and payment providers like MyNewsletterBuilder, Zoom, iGive.com, PayPal, Stripe, and Square when making a donation, purchasing products, registering for programs, becoming a member, subscribing to our newsletters, completing survey’s, etc. Information collected may include, but not limited to, name, email address, physical address, phone number, other personal information, content of messages and comments, and transactional information such as credit card and billing data and inform related to a particular transaction. DLMI’s third-party platforms/providers such as MyNewsletterBuilder (MNB) may collect site activity, access device, browser type, locations, IP address, pages visited, cookies and other similar information and provide such information to DLMI. |

Signing Up for Our Newsletter |

We use a third-party service provider, MyNewsletterBuilder (“MNB”), to send and manage our email and marketing campaigns and announcements related to our programs, services, products and events we offer to our users. Users may subscribe to our email newsletters through MNB’s website, you will be presented with a secure form in which you will be asked to provide Personal Information, which includes your email address and contact information you can choose to provide and you will be asked to select your mailing preferences based on your area of interest. Any information you submit through this secured form is provided directly by you to MNB and is also subject to MNB’s privacy policy and terms of use. We have a data processing agreement in place with MNB and have access to such Personal Information and process the Personal Information for the purpose of providing information, programs, products and services to our users. Users may make changes and opt out at any time from receiving newsletters from DLMI by unsubscribing. |

Donations and Payments |

We use third party processing services such as PayPal, Stripe, Square and PNC Bank (collectively “payment processor” to process online donations and payments to DLMI made electronically through links to the secured sites of our payment processors from our website or through other third-party services we use like Livestream, Vimeo, DonorBox. If you choose to make a donation or payment through these links, you will be transferred to a secured form. Any information you submit via our website(s), streaming and social media platforms is provided by you to the payment processor and is subject to their privacy policy and terms of use. PayPal and Stripe will provide us with certain information about you (including your name, billing address, email address, donation/payment amount, whether the donation is made in honor or in memory of someone, and the purpose for the donation/payment and additional notes or comments if applicable, but not your credit card number) when you choose to make an online donation to DLMI through these payment processors. |

Social Media |

When you access or interact with Drepung Loseling Monastery, Inc. through a social media service such as Facebook or Instagram, we may have visibility to your profile name and other information you have made public in connection with that particular social media service. The social media companies may collect and share anonymous aggregate metrics with us regarding use, such as the total number of clicks, shares, users’ demographics (e.g., age range, gender, location). These social media companies are not operated by Drepung Loseling Monastery, Inc. so the use of their services is governed by the privacy policies of the social media companies. |

DLMI and all websites owned and operated by DLMI do not use cookies nor tracking technologies. However, our third-party service providers such as MyNewsletterBuilder may use various technologies to collect and store information when you use their services, and this may include using cookies and similar tracking technologies, such as pixels and web beacons. The use of cookies allows third-party provider to keep track of your information, prevents you from having to reenter your information at each connection and provide information to us that helps us optimize your experience by delivering targeted content to you based on your interest or needs. You may disable cookies settings on your computer or other devices but often times, if cookies settings are changed or disabled, you may experience site features that don’t function properly, limiting your personalized experience. Our websites include links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from ours. How the Information Is Stored and Protected |

We take many precautions to safeguard and secure your information from unauthorized access by using industry-standard security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. DLMI use firewalls to protect our services and use virus/intrusion detection software and secure layer technology (SSL) to encrypt user’s information. Despite our best efforts, there are risks inherent in sharing information. We cannot control actions of other users with whom you share your information. We cannot guarantee but make every attempt to limit only authorized persons will view your information to provide. |

You can reduce your risk and protect your information by using security practices such as choosing a strong password, using different passwords for different services, using up-to-date antivirus software, use trusted and secure password protected internet connection. Children and Privacy |

DLMI’s websites are intended to be accessible and enjoyed by general audiences age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, without first obtaining prior verifiable consent with parent or legal guardian. If a visitor known to be a child sends an email to DLMI, we will only use it to respond to the writer and not to create profiles or otherwise retain the information. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, you may contact us to request this information be deleted. |
