| Vajrasattva represents the indestructible wisdom of all Buddhas in deity form to assist beings with their purification of destructive behavioral and emotional conditioning. All the great Tibetan Buddhist meditators have relied on this preliminary practice as a foundation for the success of their meditation and inner transformation. This powerful practice is especially appropriate to our present times, and is an auspicious way to prepare for the new year.
Vajrasattva is a tantric practice, therefore, all participants are required to have received prior empowerment as a pre-requisite. This retreat will be based on the Vajrasattva Sadhana practiced every Sunday morning at our center. It will consist of three sessions each day. It is recommended that the participants try to attend all sessions; however, those unable to do so can join in as many of the sessions as they can. |
