Come and join us for our annual Atlanta Tibetan Festival.
There will be Tibetan food, music and dance, a Tibetan market
along with guided meditation and games for the children.

 
     
     
 

Bring your family and friends to this special celebration of Tibetan culture. Activities include meditation, Tibetan food, music, dance, games, Tibetan Bazaar, film screening, door prizes, children’s arts and crafts.

Since His Holiness the Dalai Lama blessed our center in 2007, Drepung Loseling has been working towards completing its vision of creating a “Little Tibet” in Atlanta. Last year’s Grand Opening Celebration was a prelude to what will become DLM’s annual Tibetan Festival to be held each fall. Hundreds of visitors enjoyed last year’s festivities and we promise this year’s program will be just as fun.

All funds raised will enable DLM to continue to provide quality programs to serve the Atlanta Community and to help preserve the endangered Tibetan culture outside Tibet

$3 (general), FREE for children under 12 years old.
Each paid admission will receive an entry for a door prize.

Entertainment, workshop and games are FREE with admission.

Food and the following activities require tickets to be purchased:

1 Ticket = $1

Parking and Directions
  
     
 

There will NOT be parking available at the center but thanks to the graciousness of the Skyland United Methodist Church, we will be able to park in their lot between 8am and 8pm on Saturday, November 14th.

Please note: parking at the Skyland United Methodist Church is ONLY available to us during the 2nd Annual Atlanta Tibetan Festival event. We request that you use that parking lot as we don’t want to upset our neighbors with too many cars parked on the side streets around the center.

The Skyland United Methodist Church is located a short walk away from Drepung Loseling at:
1850 Skyland Terrace NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.

Please park at the lower level area off Skyland Drive first. Do NOT park in the handicapped parking immediately in front of the church, or in the spaces in front of the church as they also have an event on the same day.

If you or someone in your party is not able to walk from the parking lot to the center, you may either drop them off at the center and then go park.

Directions to Skyland United Methodist Church coming from the intersection of Peachtree Rd. and Dresden Dr. (at Brookhaven MARTA station): Turn onto Dresden Drive going east. At the first stoplight past Drepung Loseling, turn right onto Skyland Drive NE. Go past the entrance to Skyland Park and look for the church on your left, turn left onto Skyland Terrace to access the parking lot.
  
     
  Directions to Skyland United Methodist Church coming from the intersection of Clairmont Rd. and Dresden Dr. (near Plaza Fiesta): Turn onto Dresden Drive going west. At the stoplight just before you get to Drepung Loseling, turn left onto Skyland Drive NE. Go past the entrance to Skyland Park and look for the church on your left, turn left onto Skyland Terrace to access the parking lot.  
     
 

From the church parking lot, volunteers will direct you to cut through Skyland Park to the back of the center. Thank you for your cooperation in making our event a success!
